One of My New Fitness Goals

Today I saw the following video of a guy called Milko Georgiev performing an exercise called the Dragon Flag:

It looks impressive, and it's quite difficult to pull off for the first time if you've never done it before.

I tried to do a rep or two today at the gym, but I only was able to make a few reps that sadly didn't look like the ones presented in the video; I didn't manage to get a straight line from the shoulders to the lower body.

Nonetheless, thanks to my failure I now have a new fitness goal, namely to perform a clean Dragon Flag rep; it looks like I have to focus my training more on my abs in the future.

It's definitely a difficult goal to achieve, and it will clearly take some time to arrive there, but I'm happy to have a new goal on my list of things I want to accomplish physically.

Ich Will

Rammstein's "Ich Will" is currently the most played track during my workout sessions at the gym:

The MP3 player that I exclusively use for my gym sessions is filled with House, Hip Hop and R'n'B tracks, but the folder containing the Rammstein tracks I personally selected really makes the difference; It's just the perfect workout music.

Shooter's Sandwich

Merely a month ago I tried to make the Shooter's Sandwich after I read an article on guardian.co.uk about it. This is what my result looked like:

I slightly modified the recipe described in the article; I replaced the horse radish with grated parmesan cheese, used roughly 500 grams of lamb backstrabs (also known as shortloin eye of lamb or Lammnierstück in German-speaking countries) instead of steaks, and added quite a heavy shot of Srirarcha sauce to the mushroom mix.

It was an awesome meal, I tell you!
